Mary Allison Andrews, MD
I’m originally from Hattiesburg, but went off to Arkansas where I had the opportunity to swim on the Henderson State University Lady Redwave swim team. I ended up meeting my sweet husband Winston during my undergraduate years, and so I stuck around to attend medical school at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. Although I dearly loved my time in Arkansas, I am also thrilled to be back in Mississippi and reconnect with the town I grew up in.
I am passionate about helping others’ through the highs and lows that come with life and I appreciate opportunities to form close relationships with the people around me. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, which usually entails being on a golf course or in the duck woods, as well as spending time with our families and friends. Growing up I was very involved in sports, particularly swimming and horseback riding and in general, I love doing anything that involves enjoying the outdoors. I am looking forward to the growth that I am confident I will experience during the next three years with the FGH residency program.
