Casey Stanford, MD
I grew up on the MS Gulf Coast but spent most of my time on my family’s homestead in Greene County, MS working with cattle and farming. I attended the University of Mississippi and received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. Because I also studied Korean at the university, I spent two summers in South Korea. During my time in high school, university, and presently, I serve on my church’s music team playing violin, trumpet, cello, and saxophone.
I am a current member of the Mississippi Rural Physician program and plan to serve as a Family Medicine physician in a rural area in Mississippi. I am fascinated with the created human body, two favorite subjects being dermatology and emergency medicine.
My wife, Hannah, and I look forward to the birth of their first child in December.
