I was born and raised in Hattiesburg, MS and have been fortunate to obtain all of my education thus far in town as well. I graduated from University of Southern Mississippi in 2014 and was fortunate to attend WCUCOM afterward. I was naturally very interested in the Family Medicine program at FGH, given its location and reputation. I had first hand experience with watching the program grow from day one of its inception as my brother, Dr. Allen Martin, was in the first class of residents and am proud to say it has matured into a program I am proud to be a part of. I am married to my wonderful wife Lauren Martin, and we are expecting our first child in December 2020. We could not be more excited! We enjoy all things Southern Miss on the weekends as well as other local activities such as shopping at the local thrift shop the Lucky Rabbit and enjoying time at my family’s land on the edge of town.
